GOSPORT BRANCH

WELCOME TO THE GOSPORT BRANCH OF

The Gosport branch of the Submariners Association is the biggest 'local' branch of the association in the country with over 200 members. The branch's activities range from social events to more serious matters such as visiting members when they are ill, keeping in touch with the widows of members who are no longer with us and promoting the submarine service at all levels. 

The 'Submariners Association' is the premier association within the United Kingdom for both serving and ex submariners from the Royal Navy's submarine service (and certain qualifying submariners from both commonwealth and other national navies who have served in RN submarines and meet certain criteria).

The association is open to all ranks and ratings, from the most junior ratings to the most senior officers and is officially recognised by the UK Ministry of Defence.

The Gosport Branch of the association meets on the first Thursday of every month. These meetings consist of either a full Members Meeting where the branches business is discussed with the membership and a few 'wets' are also enjoyed. On alternate months, we have a purely social evening devoted entirely to a few 'wets' and a natter where members can catch up on old times with their oppo's and swap dits over a drink. We meet at 7-45 for 8pm at the Royal Naval Association (RNA) Club in Gosport. To see a map showing where this is press the 'MAP' button on the left.

If you are currently serving in submarines in the Royal Navy, have previously served in RN submarines (including certain non-British submariners who have served for a period on a British submarine) then why not join now?
