A member of the Gosport Branch, David Wheatley and Al Smith, also a former submariner, took part in this year's Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. A charity motorcycle ride dressed In 'dapper clothing' and on classic styled bikes, locally held from Southampton waterfront to Sammy Millers museum in the New Forest. 

This ride was one of a multitude held worldwide to raise awareness and funds for Prostate cancer research and Men's mental health charities. 

We raised over £600, the local figure close to £16,000 and worldwide near $7.4M was raised. They both plan to do it again next year.
