Joined the RN in 1972 and Served on HMS Ark Royal (IV). Drafted into Submarines in 1977 I served on HMS Oracle, Otter, Onyx and Oberon as a JR, SR and SLJO. This was followed by a number of SM related jobs including Procurement, RNSMS, NATO and CTF 311/345 as the SMSCO. Retired in 2009 after 36 Years. Married with 4 children and 10 grandchildren. Joined SA in 2020.

Joined the RN in Dec 1964 as an Electrical Mechanician Apprentice. Served on Bulwark then Hermes. Then joined NTD Neptune as a skimmer before seeing the light and volunteering for Submarines. Did short patrol on Renown (P) then Resolution (P) for 6 years before being promoted. On promotion I joined Porpoise as Electrical Officer for 2 years. After paying off Porpoise I joined the Tank for 3 years. This was followed by Ocelot in refit, RNSMS Trident Training Design Officer, CWTA as Sonar Trials Officer, LT’s staff course and Submarine School Development Projects Officer before leaving in April 1998.

Retired as a Civil Servant Instructor Officer.

Served on: Opportune, Conqueror, Revenge (x2), Resolution, SMRA (FOSM (Gosport), FOSM (Northwood), DRA Portsdown, CESG (Tempest) (GCHQ). IT Security Manager/Consultant with BAE Systems, MoD (Security Services), Managing Director of Enigma Security Consulting Ltd until retirement in 2005. Joined Submariners Association (formerly SOCA - 2006), Currently Membership Secretary of the Gosport Branch.

Joined the Royal Navy in 1991, Joined HMS Dolphin o/c basic training. I have served on HMS Resolution, HMS Tireless, HMS Talent (Twice), HMS Triumph which I saw action firing TLAM in 2001. HMS Torbay (Twice) and finally HMS Trenchant (3 Times). High light of my career was ICEX 2018 on TRENCHANT and again in 2024 with The Arctic Submarine Laboratory (ASL). I left the RN as a CPOTSM after 33 years. I am now employed at BMT Ltd as a Senior Combat Systems Engineer.

Joined January 1973, left November 1985. Trained as a mech tiffy and served on Courageous and Warspite in addition to AFD60, Dolphin and Sultan. Have worked in Financial Services since leaving the RN and have been running my own Financial Services Compliance firm since 2004. I am an affiliate member of Gosport Branch, my full membership remaining with my last Branch in Gatwick where I lived previously

Joined RN in 1961, 5 years as Artificer Apprentice. HMS Hampshire County Class Destroyer, Control Artificer, far east deployment then 1-year qualifying course. Volunteered Polaris, HMS Resolution Ist Commission as Fire Control Missile Tech. into refit and next commission. HMS Renown as Charge Chief, promoted FCWEA (WOWEA). Refit, Chevaline fit and proving firings. Several patrols then inboard On Job Trainer, Indexes and US DASOs Escaped Faslane on dark and foggy night! SM2 SMU HMS Defiance SMWE desk. Promoted TASL scheme. Collingwood instructing, then WEO of HMS Hecla to the GULF for 1st war 1990. Squadron WEO MCM1 for mine clearance operations and investigation of Hyperfix navigation networks in northern GULF. TRIDENT training for System Engineer underground operations. Continued as RO2 on retirement from RN in 1995 to retirement 2006
